Coffee groups for ethnic women

Monthly coffee groups for migrant and former refugee women focussed at integration, support connection to communities and mainstream organisations. Various topics and guest speakers provide stimulating conversations and discussions towards empowering and celebrating womanhood.

Community education and awareness programmes

Programmes focussed on creating awareness for youth and adults with current and pertinent topics such as family harm, alcohol and drug abuse, sexual violence.


Ahimsa

AHIMSA

Non-violence Programme

Culturally appropriate 12-16 week Non Violence Programme currently being offered on individual basis. Topics range from Anger management, effects of violence, respectful relationships, New Zealand Law, Communication, Parenting etc.


SITAARE

Childern Programmes

  • Sitaare (6-8 week) Programme for children aged 6-10, who have experienced family harm
  • Life skills (7 weeks) Programme for children aged 8-12, who have difficulty expressing feelings appropriately
  • Transitioning (6 weeks) Programme for children aged 12-14 aimed at promoting self confidence

12 LAWS OF KARMA (Women’s Programme) 12 week programme aimed at Breaking the cycle of violence
